For 20pieces you’ll need:
- 500g of organic wheat flour
- 30g of baker’s yeast
- 50g of cane sugar
- 50g of organic vegetable margarine (non hydrogenated)
- 200ml of Ecomil almond cooking cream
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of turmeric (so as to bring yellow to the dough)
- Some apple compote
Recipe (for 20 doughnuts):
- Dissolve yeast with sugar in hot almond cream. Make sure that the temperature of the almond cream is just lukewarm. Add the flour, salt, turmeric and lukewarm margarine to the dissolved yeast in almond cream. Knead well so as to obtain a smooth paste (about 20minuts if done manually, and 10mn if done with a food processor, which will bring you a lighter paste).
- Give the paste a globe-shaped form and allow it to stand for one to two hours. Now degas the paste and spread it with your hand, giving 2cm thickness to the dough, then use a glass in order to form discs with a diameter of 6cm approximately. Cover with a cloth and let the dough rise until doubled its volume.
- Lay your disks on baking paper.
- Put in the oven at 180ºC then bake it for 10minuts.
- Once the doughnuts are cooled, fill it with your apple compote.
- For even more sensational taste, sprinkle with icing sugar!
